HAS THINGS IN COMMON
February 28 - April 11, 2015
DNA Artspace
Has Things In Common is something of a survey. It is the largest off-site project to date and consists of a re-staging of ideas developed over the project’s 6-year history. Objects from past shows have found new affinities amongst the lot. Things are constellated into new clusters. Burden beasts and salted feast. Judy Reeve. Campfire revival. Endless Endless.
The exhibition coincides with the launch of a 100-page survey published by the McIntosh Gallery, covering Parker Branch’s first six years, with texts by Jen Hutton and E.C. Woodley. The publication will be launched at DNA Artspace on Thursday, March 26th from 7 to 10pm.
